Ms. Cravens focuses primarily in the areas of State and Federal criminal defense of juveniles and adults, representing clients under investigation for or charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses, and White-Collar matters. Ms. Cravens also practices Health Care Law focusing on compliance, administrative, criminal investigations, and small business disputes.
Ms. Cravens graduated magna cum laude from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee in 2000 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. In 2004, Ms. Cravens received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee where she received the Dean’s Citation for Extraordinary Contributions to the Law School. Ms. Cravens is admitted to practice in all Tennessee State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Ms. Cravens has achieved Martindale Hubbell’s highest peer review rating of AV Preeminent. Ms. Cravens is a fellow of the American Bar Association and the Knoxville Bar Association. She has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2012-2016 and has been voted a Knoxville City View Top Attorney in Juvenile Defense from 2014 -2016, 2020-22. She is a 2009 graduate of the National Criminal Defense College. Ms. Cravens is the President of the Knoxville Bar Association. She serves on the Steering Committee for the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law Program, having previously co-chaired the program for multiple years. She is a Past President of the Tennessee Lawyer’s Association for Women and the East Tennessee Lawyer’s Association for Women and previously served on the Board of the Tennessee Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers.
